Chicken gizzards
thoroughly cleaned

coconut cream

Onion

turmeric powder

black pepper
freshly ground

paprika
powder

tsp
cumin seeds powder

tsp
coriander seeds powder

tsp
chilli flakes
salt to taste
cooking oil
Instructions
Step one:
Marinate the gizzards with the minced garlic and ginger, and black pepper then set aside for 5 minutes.
Step two:
Heat oil in a cooking pan and sear the gizzards over medium high heat until brown on the outside on both sides. Remove and set aside.
Step three:
Using the same oil used to sear the gizzards, add the chopped onion and fry them in medium heat until soft, about 3 minutes.
Stir in the chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.
Stir in salt and the rest of the spices and further cook for about 2 minutes.
Step four:
Add the fried gizzards and cook for 2 minutes.
Add the coconut cream.
Stir all the ingredients together and bring the sauce to a simmer.
Let them cook in the coconut cream for about 20 minutes, or until they are tender. Add chopped parsley.
