Remove the maize from the cobs and wash the maize and green pigeon peas
Mix the maize and the peas.
Step 2: Boil
In a large pot, add the mixture of maize and peas and enough water to cover the mixture.
Bring to a boil on a high heat then reduce to medium low heat and let simmer for about 1 hour or until they are tender. Make sure to check occasionally and add more water if needed.
